A short introduction must be in order..

I’m mchristal84. Divorced. Single (working) Mom of two. My oldest, 9yrs old, a boy (my monkey :)), whom I had while I was still in high school.  Then there is my little Diva, 8 yrs old.  No seriously, she is such a diva it drives me crazy.  But that’s alright. She’s still my baby 🙂  I’ve been divorced now for…going on two years. Been with my wonderful boyfriend  for a little over a year.  Our conjoined family now lives together.  The BF has two boys of his own. “Allie” is four years old and the little one “Pooh” two and a half years old.

So far I’ve had two real jobs, (psst. that is, aside from being a mommy!) No, lets make the 2.5 jobs.  When I first joined the workforce as an adult I was a Sales Associate for Anchor Blue Inc.  Some of you might still be able to remember the store selling juniors clothing and accessories before the company went bankrupt and closed all their stores.  Luckily for me I got out before that happened.  After ABRG I joined the staff over at The Arc of San Diego as a Teacher’s Aide (or Learner’s Aide, my title seemed to keep changing) for the Parent/Infant Program.  I spent a good four years with Cis, working with infants and toddlers (and their parents) with developmental disabilities and delays.
